Dianne Buswell, 34, is known for her luscious scarlet locks that she has worn on Strictly Come Dancing for years.
However, Dianne stunned her followers when she appeared on social media with long brown hair.
The professional dancer was filmed backstage at Strictly Come Dancing: The Professionals UK Tour.
She appeared virtually unrecognisable as she tagged her hairdresser, saying: “I’m getting ideas.”
However, it turns out the new look was just a wig as Dianne shared a second selfie of herself with her signature hair, saying: “But then there’s the red.”
The performer recently revealed she wanted to branch out from dancing and try her hand at something new.
In February, it was reported Dianne had signed up for Celebrity MasterChef, following in the footsteps of Strictly stars Johannes and Katya Jones, who have taken part in the BBC 1 cookery show.
In a recent interview with Heat, Dianne divulged that she has always wanted to try acting, telling the publication: “I’m taking it quite seriously. I’ve always been a little performer, and there’s no time like the present.”
When asked about her future on Strictly, Dianne replied: “Absolutely. Acting is just a little side project, really, so who knows where it will take me?”
“Strictly is my absolute passion and I always see that in the future.”
During an appearance on ITV’s Lorraine, Dianne praised Joe’s dancing skills, following rumours circulating that the pair had gone their separate ways.
Fans began speculating that the couple were no more after Dianne flew to Australia by herself in March.
Lorraine asked Dianne: “Are you still dancing with your lovely man Joe? Are you two still dancing together?”
The Strictly star replied that she was, before saying in reply to the second question: “Yes we are. He puts his little ballroom frame up almost every day.
“It’s getting better. You know he actually is very good. I would love to actually do a proper competition with him [and] see how he goes.”
It was recently reported that Dianne and Joe were selling their £1.35million property in West Sussex, which they have owned together for around two years. The pair have now found another house, it is believed.
“It makes me laugh that people think I wouldn’t go and see my family without Joe,” she told The Mirror.
