Joan Collins, born May 23, 1933, is an award-winning actress and author. The London-born star, who had officially been dubbed a Dame, began her film career in the 50s after studying at the UK’s Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. In the coming decades, she would star in classics like ‘Esther and the King’ (1960), ‘The Road to Hong Kong’ (1962), ‘Quest for Love’ (1971), ‘Tales from the Crypt’ (1972), ‘Empire of the Ants’ (1977), ‘Zero to Sixty’ (1978), and more.

Joan’s fame rose to another level when she took the role of Alexis Colby in the soap opera ‘Dynasty’ in 1981. She earned a Golden Globe for the iconic role, which lasted until 1988. Joan laid low in the 90s, making her 2010s comeback with the series ‘Happily Divorced’ (2011–2013), ‘The Royals’ (2014–2018) and ‘Horror Story: Apocalypse’ (2018). The British icon is also an author, with 6 novels, 7 memoirs, and 6 other non-fiction books under her belt.

Here, Joan is seen looking like quite the fashionista during her modeling days. She wore white shorts and a tie-up top with heels for a decidedly leggy display.
